I have been here, studying diligently, thinking and over thinking every move, muscle, and emotion. The more that I think, and feel, the more I want to stay. Somehow Mysore feels like home, and I have fallen for this beautiful city.
When looking through my goals and plans for the next few months in my planner (have I shared how much I love this planner?) one thing struck me, one of my “3 year goals”. Experience a new city for at least one year. This goal practically danced across the page and into my head. A tiny seed, slowly sprouting and growing into an idea.
What if that city wasn’t in the States, what if instead, I could have this experience here? Slowly, this idea has grown, and after consulting with a few people, I have decided to extend my stay.
That’s right, I cancelled my return ticket, and at this time I am planning to travel Thailand for two weeks in January. Then come back to beautiful Mysore and spend more time studying yoga and explore a few other options.
So…other than that, this training is everything I was hoping for and more. Over the past two weeks, I have noticed many changes physically, and emotionally. I can now consistently hold chakrasana, and everyday I feel my alignment is improving! Mentally, while I am very tired, but I am loving every minute of this learning opportunity.
I cannot wait to see what else comes up over the next 10 days!
